Ranganath Kempanahally (R K)

Founder and CEO

R K is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Chiplogic Technologies, responsible for running and managing day-to-day operations, Business, Products, Strategy, Quality and Engineering services of the company.

R K has over 20 years of experience in the semiconductor industry as a Technical Lead, Verification consultant, Business Development Manager and has held several engineering and management positions at both product and service companies. A hands-on engineer worked on and deployed advanced verification solutions for complex verification projects for several global companies in USA, Europe and in India.

Prior to founding ChipLogic Tchnologies, R K was a Founder and CEO of elite plus Semiconductor Technologies which was acquired by MOSCHIP in late 2016 and as a part of an acquisition, he worked as Sr Vice President at MOSCHIP, heading their service division for Europe and USA. Prior to this he was a Director of Engineering at EnSilica, responsible for Leading Verification Engineering and Services business and have helped them to set-up an overseas design centre in India and held several consulting and technical Lead roles at various start-ups to multi-national companies like Ample Communications, Velio Communications, LSI, Renesas and Wolfson Microelectronics (now Cirrus).

R K has master’s degree in Electronics from Mangalore University, India, and an Executive MBA from Cranfield School of Management in the UK.

Shivendra Kumar

CTO and VP Engineering (IOT and AI/ML)

Shivendra is CTO and VP Engineering at Chiplogic Technologies, responsible for defining product, technology roadmap and running & managing AI/ML and IOT Engineering Services.

Shiv is an alumnus of NIT Warangal brings more than 20 years of experience from Wipro and ABB. His prime area of expertise are Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Deep learning, Internet of things and telecommunications (Pstn, Optical, Wireless, Nms/Ems/Oss). He is an avid reader of technology trends, technology books , physics books and geography. Shivendra is involved in hands-on development of AI/IOT solution with the team and as much fluent in coding as he is speaking in Technology forums. He has also been consulting on AI/IOT with fortune 500 like Dell, Mercedes, Siemens and others. He has very good mix of technology depth, delivery, and business experience, which makes him suited to create innovative solutions for customers.

Shivendra is a people person and relationship driven which makes him apt for forging strong and long term relationships with customer. He is high on energy, likes to travel and loves to indulge himself into solution conversation with customers. He is a passionate teacher, currently teaching AI/ML coursework at Purdue University(PGP program) on part-time basis.

Shivendra has Degree in Electronics and communication Engineering from NIT Warangal, AP India.

Dr Vijay Pathak

President US Operations and Advisor

Dr Vijay Pathak is the President of US operations and Technology advisor at Chiplogic Technologies, responsible for overseeing US operations, business, Sales and Engineering services of the company.

Vijay is a Semiconductor industry veteran with over 40 years of design and product development experience in various companies across the globe. Prior to his association with Chiplogic, he was the CTO of Sankalp Semiconductor, CTO of Megachips Technology America, and Distinguished member at Texas Instruments.

During this time in semiconductor industry he held positions ranging from design engineer to executive management in Europe, USA and India responsible for technology development and product execution for consumer and telecom applications. He holds 9 patents and 5 publications in reputed journals in the field of power semiconductors , high speed interfaces and analog circuits.

Outside of work, Vijay has diverse interests ranging from study of Upnishad, Yoga/meditation, gardening, running, travelling and Golf.

D R Seetharaman (DRS)

Technology and Operations Advisor

D R Seetharaman (DRS), is Technology, Operations and Business advisor at ChipLogic, advising the management team on various Technology, Operations, Business and Strategic matters.

DRS is an Industry veteran with over 35 years of Design and Product development experience in various organisations like Tata Electric cos. R &D labs, Siemens India, L&T Limited, IBM Global Services and Synopsys India Pvt Limited. During his long and illustrious career, he has lead and managed large & complex matrix teams involving new product design and development, setting up new development centres in India and China, management of global R&D teams spread across geographically.

DRS has been a contributing member of Bureau of Indian Standards Organization for standardization of specifications for Dot Matrix Printers (DMPs), Floppy Disk Drives (FDDs). He has been instrumental in the design of curriculum for several Engineering colleges by providing latest industry trends and key areas to focus. He has also been key contributor for various Industry-Institution initiatives which has benefitted the new graduates as they embark on their career journey. He is a Senior Member of IEEE and Finance Chair for IEEE VLSI conference in 1998, and other Internal conferences/ events.

DRS has a B. E(Hons) degree in Electrical and Electronics from the prestigious BITS, Pilani, India, an executive General Management Program from IIM Bangalore, India, and a certification Program in Wireless and Networking from Illinois Institute of Technology, USA.

Bharath Gowdru (Bharath)

Director (Operations) and Founding Employee

Bharath is Founding employee and Director of operations at Chiplogic technologies, responsible for overseeing and running day-to-day HR and operational needs at Chiplogic’s Bangalore Division.

A hands-on Senior Verification Engineer with good exposure and experience in deploying advanced verification methodologies and have worked extensively on power management and high speed interface protocols.

Bharath has Degree in Electronics Engineering from BDT Engineering College, Davanagere INDIA.
